Case registered against MQM leaders for protesting in red zone

A case has been registered against Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders against staging sit-in red-zone after removing barriers outside Chief Minister house and Farooq Sattar, Waseem Akhtar, Khawaja Izhar Ul Hassan, Khalid Maqbool Siddique and Khush Bakht Shujat have been named in the case.

 

The case has been registered in Civil Line police station against the MQM leaders and activists for the protest sit-in against a siege of the MQM leader Farooq Sattar House in red-zone outside the CM house after removing security barriers.

 

The FIR registered with number 87/2016 and intervention in government matters, commotion, fight, disturbance in peace and giving serious threats articles have been included in the FIR.

 

The FIR has been registered on behalf of the government and as many as 500 activists of the MQM and many leaders of the MQM made part of the case.
