Police search operation in Manghopir arrest 44

Police has arrested as many as 44 suspected persons from Manghopir locality of Karachi in a search operation carried out late night while an intelligence agency in an action done has recovered hidden cache of modern arms dumped in Malir area of Khoso Town, on the other hand rangers have arrested an office bearer of a political party from Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Manghopir, police executed the search operation along with Rapid Response Force (RRF) commandos and as many as 44 suspected persons were arrested in the house to house search. The arrested persons were shifted to undisclosed location and two foreigners were included in the apprehended persons.

On the other hand, the intelligence agency has recovered the huge cache of modern weapons from Malir area of Khoso Town. Sources said that the the caught weapons had to be used in a major subversive activity on Eid.

Sources said that the arms were dumped by the persons belonging to a political party and a big name of the party has support to them.

In Gulistan-e-Jauhar, the paramilitary force, Rangers on a tip off took action and arrested a local office bearer of the party and the man has been shifted to undisclosed location.
