Rangers, police joint operation in Lyari, Gang war accomplice killed

KARACHI: Police and Rangers carried out joint operation in Lyari Sangolin area, during which gang war associate has been killed, while Rangers personnel has been shot injured.

Police and Rangers, on intelligence tip of presence of accused, carried out joint operation in Sangolin area of Lyari, during which security agencies had to face strong resistance by the accused. A Gang war associate belonging to Uzair Baluch group has been killed in exchange of fire from both sides, while two gang war associates have been arrested.

 Meanwhile, Rangers personnel Shakeel has been injured during firing exchange, who has been shifted to hospital.
